Abstract
The Futurology project (exhibition and book) focuses on the theme of regeneration and explores creativity in relation to issues of social change. It investigates what the economic, social and political landscape might look like for the next generation of Black Country citizens. The project facilitated a platform for artists to discuss key issues; participation, collaboration, authorship, artist as educator, and social and cultural division. The project was supported by New Art Gallery Walsall, Creative Partnerships, Walsall Council, Arts Council West Midlands, Black Country Tourism.
