Abstract
This report provides an evaluation of the progress of the two Intensive Engagement projects currently running within West Yorkshire providing in a toolkit known as Locally Identified Solutions and Practices (LISP1), using an evaluation framework devised by Tim Curtis during his PhD research. It provides a detailed qualitative statement of the progress of the two cases, Birkby in Huddersfield and Harehills in Leeds, against framework of three contexts and 15 key mechanisms which are known from policing research literature, public policy research and the PhD research to have the most significant impact on the implementation of Intensive Engagement (IE) at the local level.
