Abstract
The article looks at how mobile technology and social media have revolutionised communication. Focusing on school staff who have designated responsibility for Looked After Children the author explores the opportunities and threats that exist. The article then goes on to consider the ways forward in terms of the decision-making skills of Looked After Children, negotiating risk and emotional scaffolding.
