Abstract
Using imagery and data from the genocide memorial in Kigali, Rwanda this poster highlights the value of using images alongside data to increase the impact of data. “Every day we create 2.5 quintillion bytes of data; 90% of the data in the world today has been created in the last two years alone” (J Balm, 2017), in a world with increasing amounts of data, the data that is gathered needs to be presented in ways that ensure that it is FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.
