Abstract
The Motivational Preparation College for Training (MPCT) is a thriving, award winning and highly rated training provider with three distinct provisions: The Sports and Exercise College, The Military Preparation College and The Military Preparation School. The Military Preparation College (MPC) is a unique training college that helps young people aged 16 years-old to 23 years-old to develop their fitness, vocational qualifications, and employability skills to help prepare for employment, including rewarding careers in the British Armed Forces. It forms part of a network of over 20 colleges across England and Wales. The curriculum has been designed to develop students’ physical fitness, essential skills and self-confidence. This report outlines the literature review conducted by ISII, the methodological approach and timescales for the project.
