Abstract
The paper deals with expressivity as a human characteristic, which is applied in art therapies. The author focuses on dramatherapy, defines key principles of dramatherapy and mentions the possibilities of enhancement of expressivity through these processes. The results of the conducted qualitative study indicate that dramatherapy creates space for expression of clients with intellectual disability in an appropriate and creative way. Therefore, it can prevent symptoms of problematic behaviour in clients.
