Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to focus on the benefits of PSYV for youth volunteers highlighted within in the first interim evaluation report of the PSYV programme. The policy brief highlights the significant benefits of the programme to young peoples personal growth and future prospects, and their increased community and police engagement. Recommendations and observations aimed at enhancing the value of the programme to all youth volunteers have also been considered.
