Abstract

At the moment it is hard to miss concern about robots taking jobs and the need for school-age children to be more engaged with computing. In this session we will look at, from the presenter’s personal perspective, robots in schools and youth groups. As well have an opportunity to play with building robots from "junk"; some simple robots; up to playing with humanoid robot.
