    Abstract

Exhibition of chair with embedded sensors in the Hockney Gallery, Royal College of Art, Work in Progress Show 2018. Smart material exploration and embedding of force pressure sensors in vegetable tanned saddle hide. Seat surface registers weight distribution which is processed through Arduino micro controller and a force distribution map; leading towards smart materials and sensing mechatronic products for PhD by Project.
