    First comparative edition of three early novels by twentieth-century English Modernist novelist Ronald Firbank, in the Penguin Classics series. Includes textual variations between UK 1915 and US 1925 editions of Vainglory, variant texts of Inclinations (1916/28) and extensive editorial apparatus, including a lengthy contextual Introduction, Chronology and several Appendices, such as E M Forster's period essay on Firbank.
