Abstract
Work undertaken by the Walgrave Wellbeing Centre to understand local issues and concerns raised issues of access to social and medical care for the elderly, which led to the development of a local intervention to support transport and communication for those in need. Support from the Police and Crime Commissioner to further develop the Walgrave Wellbeing Centre also generated the opportunity for the IPSCJ to evaluate the initiative, providing insight to help Walgrave and the PCC to maximise impact for local communities.
