Abstract

Understanding why remanufacture is an important element to consider in fashion when working towards a wider circular economy in the fashion/textile supply chain. This essay will outline what remanufacture is, outline barriers that have hindered the widespread adoption, how it can be facilitated within the supply chain, offer up methods of workings and conclude on how these changes could look to foster systemic change within the textile industry.
