Abstract

In July 2016, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and CVQO1, the Combined Cadet Force Association commissioned the Institute for Social Innovation and Impact (ISII) at the University of Northampton to undertake a four-year longitudinal research project. The research project was designed to help understand the social impact and return on investment resulting from the MOD’s expenditure on cadets and the Cadet Expansion Programme (CEP), as well as the
benefits of the qualifications provided by CVQO.
