This event, organised by the RSA’s Systems Thinking Network, features speakers who discussed ‘Systems’ within different contexts. Dr Maryam Farsi, a Lecturer in Through-life Engineering Optimisation at Cranfield University provided an outline of Complex Systems. Simon Derrick, Director of Sustainable Business Alliance (SBA) highlighted activities of the FRESHPPACT R&D Hub to mitigate plastics pollution in Ghana that aim to result in a Systems change in the use and adoption of polymers in the fresh produce industry. Dr Ebenezer, an Associate Professor of International Sustainable Development Law at the University of Northampton discussed the application of Systems Thinking in legal systems.
