Biography

Ben is a part-time PhD student, studying the British Army intelligence function during the interwar period. As an Armed Forces Reservist, Ben took part in intelligence operations in the Balkans and Iraq.

Ben has a BSc Econ (Hons) in international politics and strategic studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and a MA in intelligence and security studies from Brunel University, London.

He is a member of the Society for Army Historical Research, the Army Records Society and a postgraduate member of the Royal Historical Society. Additionally, he is a former committee member of the Defence Research Network and the Institute for Historical Research, History Lab.
