Abstract
The publication is a report concerning an archaeological excavation undertaken by Emeritus Professor, Gary Lock (School of Archaeology, University of Oxford) based at Moel y Gaer, an iron age hill fort.
Artists in residence, Simon Callery and Stefan Gant were requested by Professor Lock to contribute both text and images (page 119 -124). Contributions are evidenced through an artist appraisal of the residency, art-archaeology dialogues and associated resulting art works receiving international acclaim.
