Exchange of Practice Event: Tackling Sexual Violence and Harassment with Northamptonshire Police and The University of Northampton Student Support and Sexual Violence Liaison Officers

This exchange of practice event focused on aligning practice between the University and Northamptonshire Campus Police. Attendees included Kimberley Hill (Associate Professor in Psychology, New Spaces project Lead, #NeverOK Lead and organiser); Anna Quinn (Student Support and Advice Manager, #NeverOK Lead and organiser); Ben Miles (Student Welfare and Safeguarding Adviser); members of the Northamptonshire Police (UoN Campus Team); Lorna Clarke (University of Northampton Policing Team Sergeant) and the University Sexual Violence Liaison Officers. This event focused on sharing best practice from both the Police and University teams, introducing each team to processes and aligning practice. Due to the exceptional feedback from all parties involved, this event will become an annual event.
