Allan Fraser-Rush receives an Honorary Doctorate

Allan Fraser-Rush, Global Planning Director and Visiting Professor in Marketing Communications at the University of Northampton, received his Honorary Doctorate from the University at this year’s Summer Graduation.

Sally Laurie, Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University presented Allan with his award at the Royal & Derngate during the Ceremony on Tuesday 16 July at 2:30pm.

During his time as Managing Director at TBWA, Allan became involved with the University, initially negotiating for live client projects and acting as a board member ‘judge’ assessing the students’ presentations. His enthusiasm for the projects, and his understanding of the value they bring to both clients and students led to a much more direct involvement at all stages, culminating in his appointment as visiting Professor in Marketing Communications at the University of Northampton.
