Biography

Ngozi is a Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance and a programme leader at the University of Northampton Faculty of Business & Law. She received her PhD in Finance and MSc in Finance & Investment Management from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland where she was also a teaching assistant. She also holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Benin, Nigeria.

A fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) UK, Ngozi was a Teaching Fellow in Finance at the University of Sussex School of Business and Management before joining the University of Northampton in 2016.

Prior to joining academia, Ngozi worked for many years in the industry. The most senior position she held was Operations Manager of one of the biggest private banks in Nigeria, with 200 branches nationwide. Within this role, she was in charge of managing bank liquidity, assets and liabilities, operational risks, cash and treasury.
