Abstract
The articles presents the topic of autism spectrum disorders from the perspective of sensory disorders and therapy possibilities. In the introduction, it compares behavioural approaches to children with autism spectrum disorders with sensory oriented approaches. Further, it explains the connection of symptoms of autism spectrum disorders and with sensory processing disorders. It mentions examples of the types of disorders and suggests therapeutic strategies for them. The principles of sensory approaches are linked to the voiced expressions of people with autism spectrum disorders about their own needs.
