Abstract

This Exhibition was held as a contribution to the Psyche in the Arts Research Network symposium; a first public event, bringing together a cross-disciplinary group interested in exploring the matter of artistic processes and products in relation to the complexity of understandings around ‘soul’, ‘psyche’, ‘spirit’. Papers, presentations, exhibition and performance were offered within this one day symposium hosted by the University of Northampton School of the Arts. The day explored Depth Psychological issues from the artist/practitioner’s view point, in order to bridge discipline boundaries and at the same time allow for manifestations of psyche to be alive and present to all. This exhibition also formed part of Parker's PhD submission.
