She joined the University of Northampton, in 2014 to work with the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) team.

Anne also contributes towards co-ordinating and running short courses organised at the ICLT.

Research Interests

Anne’s research interest is sustainability within the leather industry. She is currently working with UNIDO to create an e-learning module focusing on sustainable leather manufacture for tannery profession at the Kanpur Unnao Leather Cluster Company (KLC) – India.

She is also interested in historic and archaeological leather research. She is supervising a PhD project (leather technology in the pharaohnic period) in conjunction with the British Museum funded by the Art and Humanities Research Council.
