Biography

Kirsty Wagstaffe is a senior lecturer on the Integrated Foundation Year. They have over 20 years experience of teaching from primary schools to adult education, and most things in between. They are passionate about allowing all students to exceed their own expectations and to challenge their life script and narrative. Kirsty is heavily involved in supporting students through the pastoral system and supports other lecturers in this role. 

Research Interests

Kirsty's research intersects between photography, fine art, psychology, and spiritualism to create a truly transdisciplinary ritual method of creating artworks. They explore the transformational aspects of creativity on the individual and collective psyche. 

Additionally, Kirsty researches the impact and development of teaching, learning and pastoral support within the Integrated Foundation Year.
