Study of possible solutions to reduce the GEM Award Gap- A case study of the Accounting and Finance (A&F) subject group

Project Details

Description

The project focuses on addressing the GEM Award Gap by analysing the effectiveness of the strategies adopted by the A&F subject group. Informal discussions with the team regarding actual practices within the subject group indicated evidence of the likelihood of efforts to address unconscious bias, create inclusive classrooms and develop a sense of belonging. Being unique in achieving a positive Award Gap indicates the need to identify and investigate the effectiveness of the strategies adopted by the A&F subject group to identify a framework for best practices to improve the Award Gap and inform policy making.
