Description
Working Progress helps people back onto the path of employment. The project offers rounded support to participants, varying from confidence building and mentoring, to CV writing and money advice; all of which focuses on the needs of the individual. It focuses on supporting people with additional barriers to work. This includes people with disabilities, carers, black and ethnic minority groups, over 50’s or ex-offenders. Working Progress is provided by Commsortia Members, a consortium of voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSE) coming together to deliver services and contracts for the people of Northamptonshire and working in partnership with the University of Northampton. The project is part of the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme and is funded by European Social Fund and originally by the Big Lottery Fund.
