Biography

Experienced leather and materials technologist.  Following a career in the leather industry holding several positions in the leather value chain, I joined The Institute for Creative Leather Technology (ICLT) as a Senior Lecturer.

At ICLT I teach the importance of understanding the leather value chain along with materials testing and microscopy.

I am also responsible for managing the short course provision of ICLT.

Research Interests

My research interests cover various aspects in the leather value chain from the raw material to the final product.  I have interests in sustainability of materials and material cirularity.

Teaching Interests

My teaching covers the entire leather value chain.  There is also a focus on the physical testing of the materials along with miscroscopy.
