Biography
Tash is a Research Assistant in both the Faculty of Health, Education and Society and also the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology at the University of Northampton. She is also a Research Associate in the Institute of Healthcare Research at Coventry University. She has contributed to the development and completion of a number of externally funded projects, many of which have been research and evaluation projects that aim to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of children, young people and families. Tash also has interdisciplinary research interests in a variety of Public Health topics such as sport, physical activity, diet, and food insecurity in children and adults.
Tash completed her PhD in 2022, where she is explored the role of UK holiday clubs in promoting healthy eating among children from disadvantanged communities, with a particular interest on the role of food-related interactions between staff and children within the holiday clubs to identify how to maximise opportunities to improve children's healthy eating behaviour in these contexts.
