Research activity per year
I have worked both as a consultant and as an academic. My interests are in psychology and work. I am a pragmatist or mixed methods researcher. I have worked on commercial research projects and my own interests often using government data or BSc/MSc/PhD student research.
My specific research interests are in non-traditional employment (especially precarious work & consulting), technology at work (especially Artificial Intelligence and how IT permeates through how we work, live and function). More recently I have looked at personality, motives and values.
I have supervised/examined PhD and DBA students before. I also supervise/assess on the Qualification of Occupational Psychology, which is the professional doctorate needed to become a HCPC registered Occupational Psychologist.
