Research Interests
My research interests include resilience and progression, impact of learning development and inclusive pedagogy.
Biography
I am a qualified teacher and have over 20 years’ experience teaching in further education in addition to managing and developing curricula. I use my diverse knowledge of pedagogy to facilitate practical and engaging sessions which help to demystify academic skills. I moved to the University of Northampton as a Learning Development Tutor in 2017 and progressed to Head of Learning Development in 2021. I am Chair of the Association of Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDinHE) Professional Recognition Working Group and a member of the ALDinHE Steering Group which allows me networking opportunities outside of my institution and drive change within the association.
